RAFTER HOODIE IN COOKIES AND CREAM

My Rafter Hoodie is a bold, fun, trans-seasonal layer handcrafted with details like cropped sleeves and a hood with soft rib edging.

The ecru yarn is spun from my Portland sheep fleeces and the beautiful Hazlenut is the natural colour of the fibre produced by my Castlemilk Moorit sheep.

The striking pattern was inspired by roof rafters from an old woodshed and is created using a knitting technique called intarsia, which requires patience and careful hand finishing. My garments are made using the traditional knitting process of fully fashioning - whereby each piece of the garment is knit separately and then sewn together by hand.
